PR Institute Module 2 on July 29 in GMA Network

PRSP president Butch Raquel and PRSP Professional Development Committee chairman Janryll Fernandez invite the public to the Public Relations Institute Module 2 on July 29, 2011 at the 17th Floor, GMA Network Center, Timog Avenue corner Edsa, Quezon City.


PRSP organized the PR Institute to be the education and instructional arm of the society, the largest organization of PR professionals in the country. The institute gathers PR practitioners for continuing professional development and industry advancement.


To keynote Module 2 is Secretary Herminio B. Coloma, Jr. of the Presidential Communication Operations office. He will talk on "Presidential Communication: Employing the Palace’s Medium for Its Messages".


Also speaking are Inquirer Mobile director JV Rufino on "Anatomy of the Mobile Platform: Primer for PR Professionals", GMANews.tv editor-in-chief Howie Severino on "How to Get a Fair Shake in the News", and Camarines Sur Governor LRay Villafuerte on "Building a Province Brand: The CamSur Story".


A panel discussion on "Strategies and Tactics: The ABC's of Effective Digital PR Campaigns" will feature NetBooster Asia general manager Leah Besa-Jimenez, Euro RSCG managing director Norman Agatep and Yahoo! Southeast Asia head of Social Media Content Strategy Joey Alarilla.


The whole day session will be capped by a tour of the GMA 7 studios.

Register now: PRSP-IMMAP Digital PR Certification Program begins Jan. 27

Build your career in public relations using both traditional and digital media in campaigns and programs. Learn about digital public relations in good times and in crisis from January 27 to March 31 from anywhere you are locally and internationally, and earn a certification in digital PR.
