Be an agent of change: Join the 20th National PR Congress (Early bird rate until August 31 only)

“PR professionals are storytellers, articulating official views on issues of relevance. But beyond image building and reputation management, public relations practitioners are also agents of change,” said National PR Congress Committee chair Charmaine Canillas, as she invited colleagues to join the 20th National PR Congress organized by the PRSP.

Slated for September 27 to 28, 2013 at the Paradise Garden Resort and Hotel Convention Center in Boracay, Aklan, this year’s Congress theme is “From Ripples to Waves: PR as Agent of Sustainable Change.”

In the invitation emailed on August 7, Canillas said, “The two-day conference promises to be a gathering of prominent and respected names in the industry, where insights and updates on how PR can trigger and radiate new mindsets, and set in motion a rolling impact of action towards sustainable change, will
be shared and discussed.”

Six plenary sessions will cover From Ripples to Waves (Rediscover the strategic role of PR and create
meaningful brand impact in human lives), Creating Long-Term Value (The top criterion for today’s brands), The Big Shift (Effective storytelling using today’s innovative tools and solutions), Program Monitoring and Evaluation (Vox Populi, the more telling side of any PR story), 360 Degrees (Forget linear thinking) and Beyond CSR (A very public affair).Be part of this congress and get valuable insights from a select list of international and local experts “who have successfully influenced social change by living their brand values inside out.”
